At TaskKit (accessible via taskkit.dev), one of our main product principles is Privacy-First. This document details the types of information we collect, how it is used, and how your data is protected.
1. Tool Input Data & Client-Side Processing
Unlike conventional web services, TaskKit executes all primary utility algorithms (including word counting, JSON formatting, Base64 encoding, list deduplication, and mathematical calculations) locally within your web browser using JavaScript.
- Your input text, numbers, codes, and files are never uploaded to our servers.
- We do not log, inspect, analyze, or cache user inputs.
- When you close or refresh your browser tab, all active working data is purged from memory.
2. Log Files & Standard Telemetry
TaskKit follows a standard procedure of using log files on our CDN hosting infrastructure (such as Vercel). These logs include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks. These are not linked to any personally identifiable information.
3. Cookies and Advertising Partners
TaskKit does not use tracking cookies for our basic free utilities. Third-party advertising partners (such as Google AdSense) may use cookies, web beacons, and JavaScript to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.
